ASES Australia Summit 2009 - Acceleration

23rd – 28th August 2009

What is the ASES Australia Summit?

Headed by Stanford University, ASES chapters meet bi-annually at ASES Summits, one held at Stanford University and the other hosted by a specified chapter in the Asia-Pacific, determined by which country wins the Summit bid. For the first time, ASES at Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia) has been selected to host the Asia-Pacific Summit from 23rd – 29th August 2009. We expect an esteemed international delegation of over 70 to attend the summit with representation from all the ASES chapters from around the world, including United States, India, China, South Korea, and more.

These Summits represent a gathering of future leaders from throughout the world to collaborate and engage in a week-long conference of learning, sharing and networking through bringing together keynote speakers to provide insight on current topics such as entrepreneurship, leadership, globalisation, innovation and sustainability. To encourage networking and an interactive learning experience, we aim to organise a number of workshops with delegates and speakers, which will also be a great opportunity for generating and discussing innovative ideas. We also hope to organise company tours to promote the companies to delegates and allow them to experience the Australian operations, in addition to providing opportunities for delegates to participate in competitions to provide practical experience in leadership and management.

This year, ASES Macquarie is aiming to host an exceptional Summit with the help of our sponsors, speakers and supporters. ASES Macquarie is excited about this opportunity and is thoroughly looking forward to promoting Australia to all the international delegates, including Australia’s economy, multicultural societies, entrepreneurial potential, and the many global brands that have made it big in Australia.

We sincerely appreciate your interest in ASES and hope that you will be able to contribute to making “Acceleration!” ASES Australia Summit 2009 a grand success.
